Picnic Bench Update
The picnic bench on the community park has been repaired by Geoff Leah who we owe thanks to. It will be repainted once the wood has dried out. It should be considered that if we had replaced the bench with a new one this would have equated to all of the profits made from the Jubilee celebrations.
The park is OUR community asset and we all have a responsibility to safeguard it and the equipment on it.
This damage was carried out, we understand by teenagers, but the message must go out to all parents. Please instill in your children- particularly teenagers- the value both financial and community of the park and its equipment.
A small quantity of Cannabis has also been found on the park near to the existing play equipment. This has been handed to the police.
