School Update - All staff and pupils remain positive in these strange times working hard to ensure the school remains safe for staff and pupils. We were disappointed that the children could not attend the service at the War Memorial on the 11 November. Rest assured, the children held their own Remembrance service within their bubbles in school.
Litter Pick - Unfortunately due to COVID restrictions we are unable to arrange an official litter pick at this moment in time.  We ask all residents to please be mindful and take your litter home with you.
Community Park Event – Advent Calendar Window Displays - The Community Park Committee are holding a COVID safe event that will run from 1 Dec until 24 Dec. Each day a Christmas window will be revealed, in numerical order, starting and ending in Normanby.  Further details will be published in the shop and on Normanby by Spital Parish Council Web site which can be accessed via a link placed on the Community Facebook page.

Good News Stories –
•      Earlier in the year a young lad from Newtoft raised £363 for the St John’s Ambulance by cycling 10K each day through rural Lincolnshire.  His route took him through our village, well done Kieran.
•      Several of our residents have helped by volunteering, for numerous organisations, throughout the pandemic.  We would like to thank every one of these volunteers for giving up their time to help others less fortunate.
•        Keith Hanson of Private Lane has been awarded the Royal Victoria Medal, for Service to the Her Majesty in the 2020 Queen’s Birthday Honours List.
•      Children of Normanby School managed to collect a vast amount of tins that were donated to the Lincoln Food Bank as part of their Harvest Festival Celebrations.  Well done everyone, a really worthwhile cause.
